I'm in need of a way to track idle desktop sessions, this information is useful to me as a performance metric but management is asking for a way to be able to audit remote workers.
We started tracking screensaver timeouts, but this information is not useful since locking a workstation does not produce a similar event.
It seems that having a process we could monitor for idle time would work best, but not sure where I could start with this. Anyone run into a similar case?
