Hey,
So I got this server off of kijiji. $200. Pretty decent for a home lab with 58Gb of ram.
However the controller in this thing is unable to support >2tb drives. This is a problem, I'm wondering if something like an h700 can go into a server like this and still work and be detected by the motherboard. Or do I have to get something new, like an adaptec or 3rd party RAID controller. I'm trying to get 6x4tb in RAID 10 (or 5, haven't decided...That's a pretty big drive if there is an issue)...probably 10.
Anyways, wondering if I could get a bit of insight.
