Should I move to a 3007? Or, Monitor Envy?

I currently have a Samsung 2693HM which I really like very much. It's at most a month old. I would be happily going on my way, except a local dealer is having a 3007 clearout for approx $550 a piece. He says there are 'minor problems' with the sets, which is why they are going so cheap. I'm wondering if I should even bother going down to take a look at what the minor problems are, or should I just ignore it and be happy with what I have.

Should I take the plunge?
 
IMO it is worth it for $550. 30 is a decent step up from 26.
 
I returned a 3007 for issues. All the 30 inch panels seem plagued by screen uniformity issues. Though they might be easier to live with at that price.
 
Um well, outside of CONUS?
Currently based in Singapore, which is alllllll the way on the other side of the world.
 
Go check it out at that price. Maybe it has a hundred 'minor' dead pixels. :eek:
