Seasonic S12G-Series: S12G-550 Power Supply Review - Seasonic builds some of the best computer power supplies on the market. When do we ever get a power supply that is actually a better product than what it is marketed to be? Not often, but that is the case with the S12G-550 PSU. It is not terribly inexpensive, but it is a great value for your hard earned dollars.

Bought this 550w, for a new build, but now some people are telling me its not enough power. Seasonic told me the max output is 600W, and would need at least a 575w to power an
I7 4770, 16 to 32 DDR3 1600 ram, GeForce EVGA GTX770 4GB GDDR5

And others are telling me the 550 is fine. I was going to return it and get a CoolerMaster 640W, at least, not know hat to do!

I was powering 2x 7950's with my NZXT Hale90 550W. You'll be fine. ;)

Yeah, 550W is plenty. You're looking at roughly 300W on average at max load.
