I always liked watching him (Hallock) whenever he was on 'The Full Nerd' talking about upcoming stuff.

As an enthusiast, he was one of us. That made all of his videos "must watch." I think that explains enough. I am definitely going to miss his detailed explanations of cutting edge technology.
