I'm about to put together my new build, and I have a quick question about the ATX12V connector on the motherboard: should I use the 4-pin or the 8-pin cable? I'm asking because there is a cap over 4 of the pins on the board, so I'm not sure if I would only need the 8-pin for SLI or what.

Oh, the CPU is an e6750.

If you have an 8-pin PSU, I'd use all 8 pins.

If you have a 4-pin PSU, just use the 4 that aren't capped.

I don't think it'll make a difference one way or the other. I think either way your CPU is going to get enough voltage to run properly and OC.

Thanks for replying. I went ahead and connected the 8-pin cable. I figure the 4-pin cable will be easier to get out of the way.
