This is the next sim title from Kunos, makers of Nerkar pro and Ferrari Virtual Academy{I have both games}, but this is by far their most comprehensive game to date that includes laser scanned tracks and mod friendly approach.
If you own Netkar, you'll have the option of dling the tech demo{test for bugs}, but there's also going to be a normal demo released approx 6 weeks after that, so you'll be able to test it one way or another.
Price should just be $50-$60, but this is nothing, as a good sim can last for yrs, and mods and DLC will keep it interesting.
PC sims work best with a FFB wheel like a G27, but you can always buy a cheap and nasty Logitech DFGT, but I don't recommend it, go straight for G27 and get a huge quality and performance boost.
This could become my full time MP racer, as rf2 is all over the place atm, and probably won't be viable for 6months or more.
If Kunos get this right{and all indications from Gamescom are positive}, then we'll have another great sim maker who can join the ranks of Reiza Studio's{Game Stock Car 2012}, Simbin and ISI.
For those who're new to PC sims, know that they come with both a learning curve and a difficulty curve, however, once you actually learn how to drive race cars, your skills are transferable so you can drive any sim and get up to speed quicksmart.
PC sims have a quality of FFB and precision that arcade racers can't get near, and Kunos is famous for his FFB.
