I did a search and didn't find anything exactly like what I have, so here goes...
I just installed my legit copy of Win 7 Ult 64. In the RC when my system came out of sleep I'd have no sound. The volume bar would be muted and if I tried to do anything it would say that my speakers weren't plugged in. A reboot would fix it, but that kinda negates the whole sleep/hibernate option.
Now when it wakes up in the full version, I have no sound and it says my speakers aren't plugged in, but it switches over to a s/pdif connection in the sound properties.
I've done some searching and I've found people who had this problem in the rc, but it seems they all have toshiba laptops.
Anyone else run into this? Have an idea? Everything is up to date on drivers, fully patched too. Fully updated bios... etc...
