New PC, need i5 suggestion.

I'm building a new mini-ITX PC that is going to be used for Photo editing mainly.

There will be 0 overclocking done, ever.

I wanted to go with an i5, but i'm not sure which is the right one. Anyone have any suggestions? I wanted to keep the price under $200, but lower, the better.

Nice board, I have the x87 version. I'd agree with the i5-4690 @ $225 for longevity sake. You mentioned at or below $200 and you can in fact get a i5-4460 @ $190 (at the expense of clock speed).

$190 3.2 Ghz base, 3.4 Turbo (i5-4660)
$225 3.5 Ghz base, 3.9 Turbo (i5-4690)

So +$35 for +1.2 Ghz base, +2.0 Ghz Turbo

I know nothing about Xeon cpu's. Whats the benefit of them over i5?

Might end up going with the 4460. Im keeping an eye on the for sale / trade for a good deal.

What do mean? Find the cheapest i5k you can find and run it. And if you don't know the diff between a i5 and Xeon. What do you know about computers.
