I just saw this in the newspaper based advertisments and this seems totally impossible as I haven't seen press releases anywhere regarding this.

I'll be giving them a call to actually confirm this, to find out if it's actually a raid setup or a product, if it's a true product I'll try and get a quote from them to purchase the drive from them. Unbelievable, I doubt it's a single drive.
 
Hmmm possibly a 500 plus a 250? or 3 250's in raid?

If there was a 750gb drive out, it would be possibly close to the 600 mark alone.
 
There is absolutely no single 750GB offering from WD (or any other brand) at this time. Even if there was, it would not be found in a mid-level OEM.
 
Alright, I won't even bother calling them. Pretty odd, a mod can close this thread or we can just let it sink. Sorry for the irrational enthusiasm :p
