Hello, I recently upgraded my PC to the X99 platform and going to reuse my old P67 to a bench computer. I wish to water cool it since I do have a decent overclocker chip and was limited to the heat it was generating (2600k, 4.8ghz around vcore 1.38). I want to put it on water but my knowledge on PC water cooling is a little dated, here is what I am thinking for parts

240mm rad (used): $40
Apogee block (used): $40-50
MCP360 with res top (used): $60-70
Miscellaneous; fittings and tubes (new): $50-60
Budget around $180
Or
That "EK on the cheap" aluminium kit.

What do you guys think?

if you don't mind used go with that or some other full copper setup. are you only doing the cpu? the ek kit does look pretty good and performs pretty well just not quite as good as full copper. good bang for buck. they do intend to support this with more components coming later this year. I like the look of it, its not as flashy but I prefer function over form.
