If crossfire or SLI were not an issue. Which is preferable?

750i/780i or the 38/48 series motherboards. I have the q6600 and 8gb of speedy DDR2 ram, but seeking a new motherboard. I heard the nvidia option has had video issues.

What are the advantages of the 35 vs 38 vs 48.

Compared to P35 X38 has more PCI-E lanes on the nb for gfx (>better Crossfire) C & they are PCI-E 2.0 instead of 1.x
Nothing yet needs PCI-E 2.0 though & if you aren't planning on running Crossfire then P35 is the vfm choice.

X48 is just an optimised/tweaked X38.
