so i was looking at thermal conductivity on the wiki and found that diamond is about 2-5 times better at thermal conductivity than silver, silver being the 3rd best diamond above in 2nd and a man made element above them, so i googled diamond thermal paste and came up with this very imformative how to artical with results that show its far superior paste http://inventgeek.com/Projects/DiamondGrease/OverView.aspx i plan on doing this myself, its not the cheapest but people are spending far more for less of a result. and yes i noticed my left shift button isnt working

That's pretty interesting. Never thought about homemade remedies for thermal conductivity. Although, it would be easier and cheaper to just buy IC Diamond. But, wheres the fun in that?

Wonder how it would compare to IC Diamond though.

wait there was already a diamond thermal compound? why doesnt anyone use it? on the 4th page he has a test and shows far superior heat transfer.
