how to know diffrence

hi i am new to pc building and still working on my build. i was wondering though what is the diffrence between atx and itx. thanks

So basically different size and little changes to the motherboard

ITX are usually tiny (6.7"x6.7") and most have 2 RAM slots and 1 PCI-e slot. ATX is much larger (12"x9.7" or something like that) and have many more slots for expansions.
