Anyone know of a good stability test software that can be put on a flash drive and boot by itself, not needing a host OS? I have a motherboard I'd like to test without having to install an OS, or even a hard drive. I can get it to stably boot to he bios, and even a flash drive with Ubuntu 16.04. I just want to put it through some base paces to make sure it is stable.

UBCD or Hirens Boot Disc. If you don't mind paying acouple bucks, you can get Parted Magic.

I hadn't thought about UBCD in a LONG time. I think the last time I used it was back in 2009, when I was still doing PC support. Thanks for the reminder.

Yeah, both UBCD and Hiren's are quite old in their last release. Anything newer?

Oh, I saw the 5.3.7 and thought that was the old version I used years ago. That must have been something else, like 3.5.7 or 3.7 or something. I'll try it out when I get home.

Looking over the version history, I bet the last one I used was 5.0.3. Why I thought it was the same as 5.3.7? I don't know.
