The kernel bug won't affect most of us with K series processors (3570K thru 7700K, etc.), except for the 8600K and 8700K specifically. At any rate, I've been so tempted to get a threadripper, that if I did, this would definitely be my board of choice (I'm typically an ASUS fan, but of late, their RMA service has been horrible since 2013?).bump. Get this for your upgrade away from intel and their kernel bug!
