So I bought a
https://www.amazon.com/CyberPower-C...id=1489083326&sr=8-2&keywords=cyberpower+1500
And I think its dead.
Purchased from Amazon. It arrived, I mostly read the instructions and plugged it in for the initial charge.
I let that happen for well more than a day before I tried to use it.
When I pushed the power button it has one long beep, then two short beeps. No power is passed through the device at all.
I loaded the monitoring software on the UPS and hooked up the USB to my computer. It sees the UPS for a moment, then it no longer sees it. The device reads 70% charge regardless of how long it is plugged in. This makes me think its the factory preset charge. I dont know.
My guess is there is a logic error on the UPS board, but I dont know.
Amazon doesn't take this back because of weight and something about shipping back potentially hazardous stuff. I am awaiting a real reply from them.
Any thoughts ?
