Crucial NVMe

its QLC nand so not much special about it (performs more like a SATA SSD just a bit faster)

I thought QLC was supposed to usher in lower prices. This seems not to do that, or am I missing something?

This 1900 may be just the cache, in fact it's almost for sure. The very QLC is slower than a 5 year HDD (in sequential).
With prices, performance goes down as well. They (manufacturers in general) compensate to some degree with somehow improved caching and algorithms but...

It was reported that QLC yields were around 50%, making QLC currently more expensive to make than TLC. It should get better though.
