crossfire unigen results?

anyone have any unigen results, so i can tell if i have a problem with my 6970's

I just ran it. Score was 2180

Much lower scores with everything maxed. About the same as I get with a single card on default settings.

Umm... did you read my comments? I said lower scores when maxed. 2180 was with default settings. 1198 was with the settings you requested.

looks like my frames are bout the same as the 580's when tess is off, like the 1 guy mentioned earlier tessalation kills these cards

What is the point of this post? Why not post your results?

I ran this on a single GTX 580 before in a i5 2500k system and the scores were similar to a single 6970 in a i7 920 @ 3.6Ghz. I also know a friend with a 4.2GHz setup and SLI EVGA 580's gets about 2400 with the test as I posted with my 2180 results. That is with Tess on normal, the default setting. I don't know about Tess on Extreme.

570's are the direct competition to the 6970s, so it makes sense the scores are similar. The 570s win in some situations, the 6970s win in others. Just depends on the application/game.

His CPU is overclocked to 3.8 ghz, which would be a match for your CPU at 3.5 mhz. Unless Unigine performs faster with 4 additional threads (doubtful).
