ok guys, worth waiting for 2 weeks for significant price drops(or am i too optimistic?) or just buy a damn rig now?

Gigabyte P965-DS3/asus P5B
512 X2 adata 800MHZ ddr2
el cheapo 6200 pci-e
my humble goal is to oc the little sucker to 3 ghz on stock cooler and air, possible?
ps: oh yeah, any guide showing me how to see the batch number of e6300's will be greatly appreciated, esp from the HARDGAWDS here ^^.
