Has anyone on here put some kind of a Linux distro on their PowerPC Mac? I have found a few things online, but most versions seem to not support a lot of important features that I would use. I am just wondering how tough it was, and if you had to do anything particularly special.

I run ubuntu on my ppc imac. Just google "ubuntu ppc" and it should pop up. I wasn't able to find it through the site, but googling takes you straight to it.

Does every thing work or are there a few things that just aren't there yet?

I honestly don't know. I only play music and videos over the network on my ubuntu imac. everything seems to work

i've never used it personally... but yellowdog linux looks like a nice distro, based on fedora, and is made for PPC hardware.
