It is actually $1200 more of you apply the coupon they have on it atm. It is their biggest OLED so yea it will command a premium.

Yep. Bigger doesn't usually scale in price. Especially this far up.

Yeah, it's pretty much always been this way. Not just for TVs - I can't believe an 05 doesn't remember top end "Extreme" edition CPUs offering a meager bump in clock speeds that cost WAY more than the mainstream offerings yet only offered a slight performance gain. Or something like the 3090 vs. 3080 for that matter.
