3D Artist looking for new panels.

OK. Im a freelance artist, so money is ALWAYS a little tight. Im going to be getting a little money, and my current set of panels are starting to have problems. I have a VERY old Dell thats getting dim and burning in, and a newer Acer thats just a crap-tastic TN getting burn-in. I want a matching set of 24's that are IPS.

One thing I have noticed recently is a trend of having 1920x1080 monitors? Has things gone BACKWARDS since I lask looked? As a 3D artist (Max) I need every damn pixel I can get. Loosing 120 lines vertical is not going to happen for me, so no 1080P's.

Any good deals out there? Im partial to Dell, but im hearing good things about HP displays so im open. Even Asus if its a good value! Im just hoping to keep a pair around $500 or so.

Look on craigslist or the for sale/trade thread for some used HP ZR24w's or Dell U2410's in your area. $500 budget for two might be hard to swing but I've seen some deals.

Yikes. Looks like im going to have to bump up my price if I want 1920x1200 panels. All these cheep 1920x1080 panels are killing me. Every time I think I found a good deal, its 1080P.
