I've been imaging about 4 systems at a time here at work using Acronis True Image from a network share on our deploy server. Right now I have 1x100mbit cable running to a 10/100 switch which then has 4x100mbit cables running to each of the client systems being imaged. Would I double my bandwidth if I added a second network cable using the second onboard NIC at 100mbits or is the bottleneck the HDD (Seagate 250gb 7200rpm SATA 3.0)?

No.

Same concept of combining a LAN cable and wireless connection on a notebook to "Double" your internet speed.

To put it simply: How would you pull the same thing through both lines???? The time it would take for each connection to decide which half of the page (or other data) to fetch would kill all the benefit of it.
