My advice would be to create a barrier using plastic sheeting around the rack and duct outside air at the bottom of the rack and hot air at the top of the rack directed to the outside.
I design data centers for a living and that's the most cost effective way to cool any IT equipment.
Get Wolfenstein for $40 dollars for the 360 or PS3 or $30 for the PC.
And the Gold Box has Video games titles today starting with Ghostbusters

Datacenters are running hotter. ASHRAE continues to raise it's operating temperature guidelines for DC's about every time they issue a new TC 9.9 spec. I am pushing my DC up to 75 F and the exhaust temp of my equipment is no higher than 88 F.
What datacenters need to do (and most new designs...
I use mediatemple for work and a few of my sites. Squarespace is very nice if you don't want to have to admin/install your own a CMS or blogging platform.
I am an avid Raptor user and after reading the reviews I picked a few of these up and absolutely love them. They are quiet, fast and run pretty cool. Couple all of that with a five year warranty and 32mb cache and you have one amazing piece of hardware.
Here are the racks that I am partial to (http://www.werackyourworld.com/products/racks/four-post/). You can always pick up an enclosure, they cost more but look nicer and protect your equipment.
Spot coolers are typically used in datacenters to cool areas that do not have enough cooling and I have used them in wiring closets. They are probably your best bet.

With some real time usage I could see myself being able to work it pretty quickly. I currently own a Gen 1 iPhone and it's actually a toss-up for my upgrade because I really like the iPhone interface but I am not a fan of coverage (i don't live in the city).
What I am really interested in is...
Im using the evga brand right now. It's quite nice and runs stable and cool. The northbridge fan is noisy, so you may want to throttle it down to 40% or don't use it at all if you are using a good HSF.
If there is a game available now that you need the extra frames per second then I would recommend the second 4850. As for cooling I would tweak the the fan settings, I have had success with it. Or pick up an aftermarket cooler, which can definitely help. If there isn't a game that warrants a new...
The performance is roughly ten percent better than an 8800gt. Newer 8800's have the same core (g92) as the 9800's
I own 9800's, 8800's in Sli, and 4850's and love them all. I prefer nVidia because I find their driver is easier to use or at least I have had a lot more experience with it.

Just received my card and copy of Call of Duty 4..... All I can say is... why did wait so long to play this game!
Great card too. Handles current gen games very well, runs pretty quiet, and folds very well. I'm pulling around 4600ppd.
That HSF has been around for a while (too long). But it does the job and you can always upgrade the HSF to something more effective. I usually recommend upgrading your HSF from a cooling and especially a noise standpoint as video card fans are usually the loudest part of the system.
It actually comes with both
XFX PVT98GYDLU Geforce 9800 GT 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 (2.0v) Video Card Retail
Free Game in Call of Duty 4 in with purchase
That was taken from the top description. And the box includes the other game. They probably package COD4 w/ the card.
XFX PVT98GYDLU Geforce 9800 GT
They just dropped ten dollars more off and now it's under a hundred.
Great card for folding w/ great game for free

I have only ever dealt with corsair rebate which went smoothly. The timings on these sticks aren't the greatest but it's for my linux dev box so I am not too concerned. I have to say that the response I have seen from this post has been nothing short of amazing and I thank all of you for your...
