So sad. I feel the company made more progress under Seifert's interm than it has so far under the string of dismissals that Rory Reed has left in his wake.
I agonize as to how AMD's board could have put someone who knows litterally nothing about the chip making business in the position of CEO...
Just ignore the fact the graphics look like Call of Duty 2.
The reason these people have as much facial texture as Luigi in Super Mario Brothers is because they're Asian right? Asians have timeless faces right?
(Please pardon the sterotyping. Using sarcasam to make a point.)
sure... now if they just actually work with hardware mfgs instead of blaming drivers we might be able to use this tech. Don't expect me to buy as soon as Carmack releases this drivel.
Rory is cleaning house. Too bad none of his new execs can save AMD.
I'm particularly sad that AMD is pulling ATI under with them. ATI has been making some very competitve cards lately. Maybe they'll get cut loose somehow.
Whew, for a second I thought this might make some of our friendly neighborhood theives reconsider their actions.
"Nice" to hear that all y'all are as set in your ways as ever.
On a sadder note, this is a loss for the honest gaming community. The money pulled in from sales could have funded...
Man who could have seen this coming?
1. Become the world's lead provider of illegal material to the world.
2. Disrespect and make a mockery of your last chance to not pay for your crimes.
3. Act shocked when the court rules against you.
4. Plead insanity.
5. Go to jail for 3 months.
My...
I think it would be more fair to compare Win8 to Vista sales.
Win7 is an excellent OS, similar to what XP was back in the day. It's hard to convince people to upgrade for what is perceived as a cosmetic only update.
This just in, nVidia is a horible company all around. They always play dirty, but they do make good hardware. And frankly, as long as their windows drivers work well, I could care less how it runs on Linux (or how easy they are to work with.)
reread this today.
It makes even less sense the only logical conclusion that can be drawn from this article is that unlimited plans should be done away with.
Then the provider makes more money from the top 5% and the top 5% don't get throtled.
I don't like that conclusion at all.
Too many uncertain vatiables. We just don't know what the settings and resolutions were in detail.
Yes my Lanno can crush some of these numbers, but if I use optamistic settings (for Ivy Bridge) the Lanno sometimes looses.
Give me more info and I'll retest.
