Not all keys are mechanical though. What about the Monoprice 9180? It seems to be right along the lines of what you are thinking. A buddy of mine got this one, and it feels great. If i didn't have my current Filco i would get this one...

-_- You guys are much to quick to hate on something. Wifi Mice and KB are an amazing solution for people who have HTPCs that may be located in a central room. or across a theater, because bluetooth and 2.4gz range is not good enough in some applications.
