    Dell U2415 with 16:10 1920 x 1200 AH-IPS panel

I've noticed that the panel isn't firmly attached on the right lower side, and barely on the left, wonder if that has something to do with it? Maybe when I did the "tap" on the left to see if I could lessen the blacklight bleed, I detracted it from the right?

This is going to sound nuts but the blacklight bleed I had (have) has moved to the opposite side. Its now at the right side of the monitor.

Maybe my issue is blacklight bleed? Here's a pic: What do you guys think? And if it is, should I be returning it?

Thanks. Probably similar. I don't know how to read one of those Color Calibration Reports but in the "Standard Mode (sRGB)" the gray bars(1-8) are almost none existent, very high in Blue 17 to 19. Very different from my U2414u which have high gray bars.

    Dell U2415 with 16:10 1920 x 1200 AH-IPS panel

Mine doesn't appear to have an shades of gray. It looks very dull and completely washed out. Ran this test: http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/white.php The bottom line is almost non-existent. You can't see any boxes in number 254, and you really have to look hard to see anything in box 253...

    Dell U2414h

Don't have a display port on my video cards. Having to reset scanning every time I come out of sleep mode or reboot is becoming pretty frustrating. Any way to "lock" the settings? Okay, found a way. In case anyone else runs into this problem, you go into the registry and find everything that...

    Dell U2414h

Taking a quick look through that link, I see their solution is the one I tried. Yes, it works to move the image to full screen, but it only lasts till you reboot, then you're doing it all over again. So, its an AMD problem with HDMI, not specific to my monitor? As for pixel format, I'm not...

    Dell U2414h

Just tried it on another system, using a newer AMD card than the last (HD4800 vs 3800) and on this computer, its seeing the monitor as a TV using HDMI. It displays in a box about half and inch in. I can get it to the corners using overscan in CCC but it still looks TV like. Think its going back.

Samsung S24D390HL - Post your monitor settings

I have the S24D360HL, which is pretty much the same only in white. Just using the default profile for the monitor supplied by Samsung. Looks better than the Dell U2414h I paid twice that amount for.

    Dell U2414h

Okay, got this a week ago, resolved a lot of issues but still have these two and not sure if the first one is a defect or the way it is: 1. When I adjust the contrast from around 68 up to 90, some background shades on websites shift color, more pronounced moving from 80 to 90. The background...

    Dell U2412M

Already set up a return...for refund. Has dead pixel and the screen flicker, with a bit off bleed through to top it off. I'll wait for the U2413.

Interesting. I also saw that flickering but thought it was my eyes or that I was imagining it. Now I have confirmation. Did your A00 come backed in cardboard or foam?

    Dell U2412M

Just repacked it as best I could. I did buy directly from Dell. With yours was it back with Styrofoam or all cardboard? Mine was entirely cardboard, what I'd expect if it were a refurb.
