Zenimax Seeks Injuction for Oculus Rift SDK

Was waiting for something like this, very interesting they are seeking an injunction for the SDK and not the Rift headset itself..


Which really brings to light the real issue Zenimax is looking for, getting Oculus/facebook to pay for licensing..


I doubt this will pan out since the main thing oculus/facebook lost was the fact that it was an NDA violation, not a copyright infringement .. If they violated the NDA but oculus contains no zenimax technology, I'm not sure how they can win this injunction.

The injunction is against the SDK because the lawsuit is about what John Carmack as a programmer contributed to the project to the software side of things.
 
Rumor has it that this is just a tactic to get Facebook/Oculus to settle the issue out of court.
