Zalman ramsinks - Yay or Nay?

I installed a vf900 last week w/o the blue ramsinks... do these actually assist in cooling the ram or are they for aesthetic appeal only?

They definitely help.

If you plan on OC'ing your RAM, it's always a good idea to help 'em dissipate some heat...

My Dad put OCZ Copper ramsinks on his 7900GT w/his VF900-Cu, for the all copper look, and for better cooling.

You can pick them up at Newegg for around $10.

I agree, 'copper' is a much better heat transfer medium than 'blue.'

They're anodized aluminum.

But I agree, the copper ones would be better.
