I have a Zalman heatsink & fan (CNPS7000A) that will not fit my motherboard (Epox 8RDA3+ rev 3.2).

The heatsink conflicts with the row or caps that run by the CPU socket. I checked the Zalman site and it says I need to cut this clip to make it fit but I am very unclear as to how this would work. Does anyone have a pic of what needs to be cut?

Thanks for any info. ;)

I have one on my 8RDA, you have to do a slight modification... cutting off the last hole on one side of the bracket (the outer 2 are used for mounting with A64). Once you do that it just barely clears the caps.

Do you have a pic or can you by any chance please post one?
