Zalman CNPS9700 (LED & NT)

Hi,

What's the difference between the LED and NT models of CNPS9700?

I looked at http://www.zalmanusa.com/, however, no straight answer.

The NT is nickel plated, has a green LED, and the fan sticker has the nVidia logo on it.

The LED is not nickel plated (bare copper finish), has a blue LED, and has no nVidia branding.

is there anything better than this model (zalman 9700) to be used on a q6600?

9700LED - Blue LED, 3-pin fan, fan mate 2, all copper

9700NT - Green LED, 4-pin PWM fan, plated

i was wondering this same thing when i went to purchase my 9700LED

While im very happy with my purchase, i hate to think that i probably could have been just as well off with the 9500 which is a bit cheaper.

ya i wanted to know that also.. i own a few of each type of zalman fan.. have yet to install any of the chrome plated ones but i wonder if they cool better or the same as the regular 9700..
