Hi all.

I'm looking for a new mobo to replace my current P8Z77-V. In my place, the Sabertooth and Maximus V Gene have the similar price. So what should i choose?

I'm running a 2500K, 1 video card, 1 SSD and 3 HDD. The 2500K is running daily @4.6GHz.

Thanks in advance.

Why replace it. Your not going to gain any performance ?
2 memory slots (B0 and B1) don't regconize the stick and the PC won't boot up, which forced me to run single channel on slot A0 and A1, which in turn prevent me from using the HSF with a push configuration. I guess that's the result of a bent motherboard.

So, it's time to switch to another board. And for the sake of upgrading.

I've got both a Z77 Sabertooth and Z77 Gene.

If you want a MoBo that has a longer warranty and stood up to Kyle's insane torture test, then go with the ST.
If you want a MoBo that has premium features that will grant you the ability to move to a smaller form factor chassis if you desire, then go with the Gene.
