My friend bought a new pc and his chipset is 30-32 on idle in windows , but when he starts games then it goes up on 50-60 ish depending on what game he plays..ect path of exile is heating most.

The cpu is fine. It dosent overheat.
it is only the chipset that overheats.

All drivers are installed and windows update

If he installs asus AI suite then the chipset shows 30-32 c like it should.
But if he uninstall the suite then it goes back to 50-60 on gaming,

Specs:
Z170 Deluxe mobo
i7 6700 cpu
coolermaster g750 psu
32 gb G skill trident z 3200 mhz
Cpu Cooler noctua nh-ds with 2 fans
Win 10 64 bit

He has 6 case fans and the best cpu air cooler..but its wierd he has to install suite AI to get less volt or something on the chipset..
so that ai suite most controle something in the bios we dont understand what part tho..if only we knew what option to manage in bios to make chipset overheat from volt

Where are you seeing the high temp when you uninstall AI suite, which program?

Can you show a picture

With speccy and no i dont have any screens but i can confirm speccy shows 32 ish idle and around 60 on game mode

I have an Asus Z270I motherboard and the chipset temperature is almost time 10C hotter than other equipment, the solution for you is installing chipset cooler. I use Enzotech SLF-1.
