youtube.com/tv alternative?

So I've been using youtube.com/tv for years now to watch youtube at night and control it with my android (including volume control or the ability to pause and jump around videos...). I do not have a smart tv in my bed room and have absolutely no reason to buy one. Just a small form factor pc mounted behind my tv used for kodi, youtube, and a rare game. I have no modern game consoles either. Getting the warning that youtube.com/tv will be no more soon.

My eyes aren't good enough to keyboard and mouse around regular youtube without getting up.

I checked the MS store but there is no youtube app for PC. I know Kodi has youtube functionality but it's extremely limited compared to how youtube.com/tv along with youtube app on android work. Are we SOL?

maybe get a chromecast and youtube on your phone to the chromecast
