[YourNewCase] SUGO ... 5! GO!

hey, any of these 980s fit an unmodded sg05? i know most of the 970s fit duh but me thinks me wants a 980. :)

If you cut a hole in the front steel panel, yes it will fit. See pictures of 780ti back a page or two - they are the same size. Unmodded, no.

I was wondering about putting in a Zotac 970 (non AMP!). Not really a fan of putting in a non-blower since the 560 ti screamed like a banshee until it was put under water. I thought the 145W 970 would be able to work here quietly without water if it had dual fans like all the non-blowers seem to have.

Anyone have experience with a dual fan GPU under 200W in this case? Is it quiet under load?

yes i know that, thats why i asked. i aint modding it, i like the default front fan filter.

im using a 680 signature 2 (evga), the only noise i hear on this thing is from the psu fan (ST45SF)

Yeah, that's a noise we all have to put up with. :)

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping for that. Might punch a few small holes underneath the case to vent the GPU.

Are you sure that's an SG05 anymore? It doesn't seem like there's much of the original case there.
 
I think the body is still there but the front is completely new. How did you create the front? Is it 3D printed (or whatever is the technical term)?
