ATI All in Wonder Rage 128 Pro
ATI Radeon 9600
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro
ATI Radeon x800 Pro
eVGA 7600 GT (x2 SLI)
Sapphire Radeon x1900 XTX
-Added a ATI Radeon X1900 CFE

Mine changed this last Christmas, was going to Crossfire but a GTX beat that set up so I just went with it.

From "Not sure what was in my 486"
-> Matrox Millennium 4mb
-> Orchid Righteous 3dFX add-on card
-> Diamond Viper V770 - The oc'ed gamers edition
-> Sapphire Radeon 9500 that did not unlock
-> eVGA 6600GT
-> HIS IceQ3 X1900XT
-> eVGA 8800GTX

Pretty damn happy with the GTX, allows me to play my favorites maxed out at my monitor's native res. Which is exactly why I did the upgrade, if it turns out to be a good DX10 card, well that is just a bonus.

Lets see...

Integrated intel
Diamond Stealth III S540
PNY GeForce 4 Ti 4400
Gainward 5900 Ultra
ATI 9600 Pro
ATI 9800XT <--- Card ran w/ me for a long time
2 EVGA 7800GT's

Well let's see...I believe it went something like this:

some S3 4mb (Savage sounds right?) -> some Trident 8mb card (Think this card was also made by S3?) -> Voodoo 3 -> TNT2 -> Radeon 8500LE -> Intel GMA950 :p

There was also a Rage 128 somewhere in there, i want to say maybe around the Voodoo3 and TNT2.

My rig died in November so I tore it apart and have been using my notebook as a primary computer. That is why I went from the 8500 to GMA950. The 8500LE is/was a beast. I still got playable framerate in CS1.6, WoW, etc at high resolutions (16x12 or 12x10) just without all the eyecandy.

A new rig is planned but I'm waiting for the ATi x2xxx series to make up my mind on staying red or going nVidia.

gave the 2nd card to a friend who bought my a8n32-sli deluxe and 4800+ and my pc p+c 510w sli psu from me so he could get like a very full system upgrade and save some cash from his 754 based agp nf4 board.

gifted away the hacked up lian-li pc-65b and now need to sell the gigabyte ga-965p-dq6 and the ocz gold ddr2 800; oh, and the front fascia for my x-fi needs to go too; and my plextor 760a... i'll have an fs/ft thread soon i'm sure.

I've got an Intel GMA590 in my MacBook which went from 512MB of system memory to 2GB of system memory which gave the graphics power a very healthy boost if that counts :D

Oh yeah, I like ATI's stuff, and I'm very interested in the R600 equivalent to the 8800gts becase I dunno if this 250w psu can handle it :D

ATI X1800XT 512MB PCI-E

Satisfied with every card I owned.

Hmm...lessee...from a Hercules monochrome display way back in the day to

an ATI Rage II 2mb,
a Voodoo Rush 6mb,
a Voodoo Banshee 16mb for a minute,
a 32mb GeForce card (I can't remember the lineage),
a 32mb ATI Radeon 7000 VIVO,
a 64mb card that I can't remember the lineage of,
a 128mb GF4/Ti4600,
a 128mb Radeon 9700 Pro,
a 256mb 6800 Ultra,
a 256mb Radeon X800 Pro,
a 256mb 7800GT,
a 512mb X1800XT,
and finally the current X1900XTX.

God, that's sad.

Some 16 mb ATI card - 9200se - 5900XT - X800XL - X800GTO2 - 7800GT - SLI 7800 GTs - SLI Quadro 4500s

time to update, have sinced upgraded the 7800s to 7900 GSs and then added crossfired X1950XTXs, everything from the X800GTO2 on is still in use.

TNT2 Ultra 32mb
Quadro 2 Pro 64mb
Geforce FX 5600 Ultra 128mb
Radeon 9800 Pro 256mb

...I've been intending on switching back to Nvidia, but I thought I'd skip the 6000 series, then I ended up skipping the 7xxx series also, and now it looks like I'll be skipping the 8xxx series too.

In all honesty, my 9800Pro is still more than powerful enough to do everything I need it to. I don't run any PC games anymore.

My route stopped after the 9700pro as i've somehow gotten out of the gaming thing, again. I had 2 good gaming machines (TNT2 and 9700pro). Between those two was a time where i didn't really play much. So when all people got the Geforce 256 / 2 / 3 i only had the fading TNT2 and later the MX. Then i got the hang again and got me a 9700pro. Played much again.

Now, instead of having a desktop computer, i much more enjoy portability. So i got myself a MacBook.

Who knows, maybe in 1-3 years i'll again have the feeling to game and i'll be sitting at computer with a nVidia 1k3800XTLCXXMKL. Don't you think that Graphic Card names always get worse?

Looking at maybe upgrading to the Nvidia 8600GT. I've enjoyed the performance/price of the mid-range cards for the past few years.

Not sure exactly. Hehe, look at my name. TridenT :D I was a GFX card woot!
ATI(Maybe) 2M IGP on my old compaq > ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128mb > S3 IX 8MB IGP > eVGA 6600GT 128MB > Sapphire x1600 256MB GDDR3 OC > eVGA 8800GTS > And now currently Intel GMA 950 IGP.
But I have a lot of money to get on the 8900 series or the R600s. :)

I'm only 16 and was not exactly using computers full on until I was like 10. But even then I was just gaming, I was fucking intense about Diablo 2 and Starcraft.(Seriously, summers were just drained away to those games... And I was using dial-up..Ugh, The Sims was awesome too! Game took like 5 hours for me to just get a house made.)

How on earth did you manage to pay 300$ for an X600XT and why did you downgrade to it from a 9800pro? :confused:
