Your upgrade advice please...what´s your choice?

Your upgrade opinion guys...what is a better improvement?

Which one would you prefer? 1 - 2 - 3 -

1. 1 - upgrade to: TridentZ neo 4x 8Gb 3200 cL16 ---- current hardware: Corsair LPX 3000 - 4x 8gb - cL15 - running at: 3600mhz, cL18, 1.4v,
2. - upgrade to: RTX 3070 ------- current hardware: GTX 1070 Ti
3. - upgrade to: 2920X / 2950X threadripper ------- current hardware: 1920X threadripper

.....why would you choose that one?


Current main system purpose: 3D+Renders a lot --- games also

#2 will be best.
#1 is a complete waste on that platform
#3 would help with the renders a bit, but see #1.

Option 4, sell all your shit and buy a new 16 core ryzen AM3.
The loss in memory bandwidth wouldn't likely sting that bad, and you'll get better ccx latency for games while still rendering like a boss.

3200 cl16 won't be any better than the memory you have now and might actually end up being worse depending on what chips they use so I'd not go down that route. I agree with travm that GPU would be best thing to upgrade first.
