Hi,
Currently i have one box HP ML110G5 (QC,8GB,2x146GB SAS)
I want to get new box because in this one I don't have enough RAM,
Right know I can;t decide what is better:
1. To get another same box or ML110G6
2. To get dual socket with one QC or SC and a lot options to expand

RAM and I/O will be the first limiting factors to rear their ugly heads.

If you want to maximize the numbers of VMs you can run on a box then get as much RAM as you can. If you're going to run the VMs off local storage, make sure to get a good RAID controller and speedy disks in RAID 5. RAID 10 would be even better.

Also, don't oversubscribe vCPUs. Give 1 vCPU to all your VMs unless you're absolutely certain it needs 2. The more vCPUs you assign, the longer each has to wait to access a physical CPU core.

As Child of Wonder said, RAM and IO. Ram and IO. Biggest limitations you'll find will be RAM and IO.

You can oversubscribe ram with tweaking, but iops are iops - once out, you're out.
