Windows 7 x64
WinRAR x64
Media Player Classic - Home Cinema x64
CCleaner
Newsbin Pro x64
Firefox (still 32 bit, of course, as Adobe is full of lazy bastards that won't code a 64 bit Flashplayer for Win32/64)
Yahoo Instant Messenger (the stripped down client with no BS/toolbars/etc)
UltraISO
QuickPAR
Paint Shop Pro 7.04
DVDDecrypter
DVDShrink
ImgBurn
Nero Lite 7.9.6.0 (still the best version, and the last good one IMO)
Adobe Reader Lite (latest version, whichever and whenever that is)
Microsoft Security Essentials (my new AV/malware client, till it gives me a reason not to use it)
uTorrent
Office 2007 (primarily Word, some use for Excel from time to time, not much else)
foobar2000

That's about it for the absolute must have software, other items are added as required or I think to install them, but those on the list are what gets put on first thing after a clean installation of Windows 7.

AVG (Only an idiot runs with no AV)
Office 2007 Enterprise (Need forboth work and personal use)
Nero 9 (I hate software players and their sucky IQ/performance and I need to burn dics)
FRAPS (for FPS/video)

Only software that I insist on having...the rest is optional.

List of stuff NEVER getting on my PC:
FireCrap (no thanks to memory leaks and odd behaviour on VDSL2+)
VLC (software players sucks, period)
All sort of registry cleaner tools
All sort of "supposed" spyware tools

Try MPC-HC with built-in DXVA acceleration or CoreAVC Professional 1.9.1 or better (if you have a CUDA-capable card) and ImgBurn for your burning needs.

Yea, there is quite a few better options than that Nero bloatware.

Add Revo Uninstaller to the list. I can't uninstall anything without it. So much crap is left over doing the old fashion way.
