Cleaning out the rest of my pirated software, ftp is one of the last ones left. Looking for a good, free (or really cheap) ftp server. I have a comp with windows 2000 server hosting it, so i was hoping to use the built in ftp server. Well...wither i'm a dumb ass or you cant really configure this thing.
THe only way to add users to it, would be to add them to AD (active directory). I dont want to do that, because then they could be able to log into the box (yeah it would still be hard). I've used some in the past, where you can add usernames and passwords, and then give them rights to specific folders. can you do this with the build in ones (without adding them to AD). If not, what do you suggest?
