The reason that Yahoo was banned was because it was a problem. Thats how things work - if a free service comes above the radar for problems, it is banned. There are 487534979er different free webmail sites out there. The admins would go crazy trying to pre-emptively hunt them all down. The best approach is to ban these once they become a problem - many other large forums do this as well to cut down on all the free ipods, scammers, and !!!!!! spammers.
