Yahoo email problem

not sure if this is where I should ask this, but I thought I would give it a shot.

Has anyone used yahoo for email, you check your email in the morning and then
by 4:30 pm all your email is gone. All my wifes folders, inbox sent items and the
trash are all empty. Is there anything my wife can do to get her email back.

Please help me. She has been using Linux mint and firefox the check her email, she also
uses her droid incredible during the day to check it.

Sounds like one of the mail clients being used was setup so that it pulls all email of the servers and keeps it local instead. I'd check your settings.

She uses there web site and checks the email with her droid incredible. I do not
think there is anyway to download the email with that.

If you have a client set to use POP and remove the messages off the mail server when it's retrieved, it will do exactly that. I'm not sure how to really restore them back though, hope that information makes sense.

It makes sense but she never uses an external client

The phone is (or can be) the client.

Pretty sure her e-mail will return, this sounds like the e-mail was upgraded to the latest client? Also I would contact customer care as well.
