Que the cowboy Altaba yell even though we all know we are hearing him yell "Yaaaahoooooo!" in our heads. ZDNet is reporting that Yahoo is talking to some of its customers that it is likely that they are victims of "state-sponsored attackers" having accessed their accounts. No sure about this as it comes in a long line of Yahoo security issues, but Alt-tabbing out of your account seems to be the thing to do.
An email from Yahoo forwarded to ZDNet said: "Our outside forensic experts have been investigating the creation of forged cookies that could allow an intruder to access users' accounts without a password. Based on the ongoing investigation, we believe a forged cookie may have been used in 2015 or 2016 to access your account."
