XVID to VCD, proper way to burn?

I have an Xvid 700mb file and a friend said all I needed was Nero to burn a VCD. I have Nero Ultra but I wanted to ask here before I went ahead and made myself a coaster. I bought those special 850mb 99min VCD cd's to use.

basically what i use is nero with

nero vision express

i toss in the avi of said 'movie' and then i google a few quick images for background image on dvd menu, grab a mp3 relevant to said movies and do the menus bare minimal cuz im like that. simple and to the point

tell it to set the booktype to dvd-rom on the last page b4 you burn

its pretty simple really

Thx for the response. I havn't checked yet but does Nero Ultra come with that Vision express? Also my DVD player is fairly old, well 2001. It's a Panasonic RV31 and only supports VCD. You mentioned you add MP3's, but will the software convert them to wma files?
