xp restarts after burning a cd

ive tried nero, adaptec and NTI.

After the program burns approximately 1/3 of the cd, it just restarts.

I tried flashing the board..no success.
different versions of nero..no success.
help. quick. please

everything else works perfectly on this system.

off of a hunch, i uninstalled real one player and everything worked great.

moderator, you can delete this thread if your heart desires

No need to delete. We'll keep it up so others can see another reason why real player is evil.

It could be that real player decided to install a funky aspi layer or something. Not sure if real player can be used to burn cd's or not.
