XP-Pro x64 edition

So this past Saturday got myself a copy of a X64 edition at a Computer expo in Pomona for $ 69.00 So diggin around looking for drivers. So far so good. However i seem to notice each driver i install theres 2 folder * program files / * program files x86. For the first couple drivers i install, goes into the the regular program files, then gives me an error, So i re-install it to x86 program files, then it works. So in this case what ever driver i install and since i have the XP- x64 edition all the driver goes in the x86 / progam files ?

Drivers don't typically install in a program files directory at all. What devices are they?

Also, the naming convention of the directories is purely for your informational purposes only. It could be "C:\Program files (I hate cucumbers)\" and you could still install anything you wanted there, 32 ot 64-bit or whatever. The reason it has two directories is so you, the user, knows which directory has the 32-bit apps in it.

What error are you getting?
