XP Issue with Certain IP addresses

Whenever my laptop receives an ip of 10.0.0.X, 255.0.0.0 or an ip of 172.30.0.X, 255.255.0.0 those ip addy's seem to lock up my computer.

For example, right now I have an ip of 172.30.0.101, subnet 255.255.0.0, gateway of 172.30.0.1, and when I try and open anything, (run command, IE 7.0, VPN connection, My Computer) the PC hangs for a bit.

When I have an ip address of 192.168.1.X or 192.168.0.X all is fine.

Does XP have any known issues with certain IP addresses?

I'm guessing not, but this is a strang issue.

Sounds like some other configuration setting considering I use 10.10.10.X on my internal network.

Sounds like some other configuration setting considering I use 10.10.10.X on my internal network.

I've got some packet sniffing applications and etc, but I doubt they are always running in the background. I'll check those settings and make sure they are not. Otherwise, I'm not sure what else it could be.
