Xiaomi Mi Surface 34-inch Gaming Display review: The true 2k 144Hz monitor

You impressed?

"It’s really hard to believe that the Mi surface display is the first monitor product of this brand. A very competitive price plus relatively high performance. there is no doubt that it will become one of the best gaming displays at such a price level."

Looks nice, especially the price but 300 nits is the weak point imo. My 24.5" aorus kd25f has 400 nits brightness and it's significantly smaller. Also VA panels smear like crazy at 4ms g2g vs 1 ms or less TN. I've got all 3 (VA 144 hz, TN 144 hz and TN 240 hz) and for serious fps play nothing comes close to my kd25f. But for everything else the 32" VA is my go to.

I was actually thinking of picking up a curved screen gaming monitor for Christmas. But it seems that VESA mounts are a think of the past for gaming monitors. Deal breaker.
I got away of desktop sitting monitors 15 years ago.

This thing uses the Samsung CF791 panel. Enjoy seeing colorshift

We're calling 3440x1440 '2K' now? DCI 2K = 2048x1080.

Need trendy names for resolutions now a days. And arbitrary at that. 3840x2160 is 4k but 2560x1440 and 3440x1440 are 2k? But 1920x1080 is just 1080? Would it not make more sense to call that one 2k? I would at least prefer a total pixel count as a trendy number like 8MP screen?
