XGI-volari v-5 & v-8 any info ? users ?

interesting videocard XGI volari v5 and v-8

256 mb interface-- anybody ever use one ? are they a problem ? been seeing them uber-cheap ?

They get beat out by gf3's in image quality and performance. They are pretty much junk.

I like my V3XT, but that's because it does awesome HDTV output. Game performance/IQ is simply not there.

they cheat (and still suck) in benchmarks and crash in games. but they'd be a good cheap card for non gamers.

yea i figured thays why their priced so low .

looks like there would be some drivers around to improve their poor gameing?
